D23 Expo: ‘Incredibles 3’ and First Look of ‘Toy Story 5’ Revealed!

Pixar announced at the D23 Fan Expo that "Incredibles 3" is officially in development, with Brad Bird returning as writer/director. The news was met with enthusiasm from the largest crowd ever at the Disney convention.

Adam Stanton will write and direct "Toy Story 5," which will explore a new villain: technology. The film, set for summer 2026, will focus on toys facing the challenges of modern electronics.

James Cameron revealed the title of "Avatar 3" as "Avatar: Fire and Ash," set to release in December 2025. He hinted that the film will offer unexpected but satisfying surprises.

The D23 event also featured Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho performing a Polynesian-themed musical number. They introduced a new trailer for "Moana 2," showcasing Moana's adventures beyond her island.
